Kindly improving the world around us
I say the second post of any blog is the hardest to make. Often, you're trying or coming back to blogging without a concrete plan. That's my case. The only idea I have is to talk about kindness. I feel that's woefully missing in our times.
So, I'll speak about one effect of kindness. Just one, I need a third post. Let's explore it.
The world improves around me.
That's not my words, but my OC's Martin, after a week when he's conciously kind with everybody. It's a challenging exercise, but not too hard. You just need to try it and be extremely patient and forgiving with yourself. EZ! (_)/
Seriously, the easy part is when you start seeing improvement around you; maybe inside you too. People tend to be kinder when kindness is around, happier too, and even humbler.
In turn that kindness comes back to you. And I don't only mean people being kind to you in return; though it happens. There's some transformative work of joy inside us when we conciously attempt to be kind.
Sometimes, it doesn't work. Everyone needs to learn and everybody makes mistakes. But this is a lovely path, and one that doesn't require any grand actions.
Go and try!
